You may have received an email via the Craft Provincial Office originated by Richard Sandbach's son and which I have reproduced below.
It was requested to be distributed widely with an invitation to those that knew him to attend a thanksgiving service at Peterborough Cathedral at 2:30pm on the 29th January.
The ProvGM, RWBro George Bonham GMRAC, is unfortunately unable to attend being required at another funeral of a life long friend in another part of the country. However, he wished to advise that the Mark Province of Northants and Hunts will be represented at this thanksgiving service by the Deputy ProvGM, VWBro Brian Ennever.
I apologise for the impersonal nature of this e-mail.
As you know father died peacefully on the morning of Saturday 10 January 2015 in Devonshire Court, an RMBI home. He held high masonic rank in the Craft and many other Orders, including the OSM.
We have now finalised the arrangements.
The services will take place on Thursday 29 January. There will be a private family committal in the morning. At 2:30 there will be a joint thanksgiving service for the lives of Richard and Wendy in Peterborough Cathedral. This will be followed by a cup of tea / cake also in the Cathedral. All, who knew them, are invited. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in letting people know the arrangements.
Yours sincerely & fraternally,
