Two Mark Men cycling 900 Miles for the benefit of N&H Mark Master Masonry

TWO MARK MEN CYCLING 900 MILES FOR THE BENEFIT OF N&H MARK MASTER MASONRY

Between 13th April and 1st May, two Mark Master Masons of this Province, W.Bro. Jeff Chambers and Bro. Stuart Morgan, will be cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats.

They are taking on this 900 miles challenge in a bid to raise money for the great work done by the Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire Mark Benevolent Association as well as 'The Eve Appeal' and they hope their exertions encourage your charitable support.

Donations to the Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire Mark Benevolent Association can be sent to :-

Brian Bell

Provincial Grand Charity Steward

62 Highfield Road,

Daventry

Northamptonshire

NN11 9BJ

(All cheques should be made out the 'N&H Mark Benevolent Association').

If you want to boost your donation by Gift Aid then to qualify, Brian will need your full home address and postcode and confirmation that you are a UK taxpayer.

In memory of Angie Morgan, funds raised will also benefit their other charity - 'The Eve Appeal'

Angie passed away from Ovarian Cancer on 16 July 2015, since when, Stuart has become an official advocate for The Eve Appeal charity.

Angie was misdiagnosed for a year before she self-admitted into A&E. Sadly, her experience is not unusual. This cancer has vague symptoms, no lifestyle factors, no triage and no screening test.

The work of The Eve Appeal focuses on raising women's awareness of the symptoms and funding research into the five Gynecological cancers, including Ovarian Cancer. Their work will bring about earlier diagnosis, better treatment and improved survival rates.

They have also invited me to participate in the NICE Diagnostic Assessment Programme that will give a better test in Secondary Care and to participate in the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Ovarian Cancer where MP's and experts meet to discuss progress. They are on the frontline for bringing about positive change.

The work of The Eve Appeal is vital to improving the chances of survival for women with Ovarian Cancer.

Stuart feels he needs to put something back and thanks you for your support.

During their trip, Stuart and Jeff will be sending updates on their progress, which hopefully will encourage your donations to these two great causes.
